Original Nazi SA Dagger Dated 1942 with RZM M7/66 Maker's Code
This is an outstanding SA dagger featuring the RZM maker's code "M7/66" for the famed Eickhorn firm in Solingen, along with the date "1942". The blade has a nice straight sharp point and no edge dings. However the blade has been carefully polished which has removed the crossgraining and caused some definition loss to the motto. The shaped brown wood grip rates near excellent with a nice frosted aluminum eagle/swastika grip inset and a brown enameled SA rune button with no chips. The plated dagger fittings are nice and bright. The undented scabbard body retains about 98% of its original brown paint finish. The plated scabbard fittings are bright and undented including the ball tip. All scabbard fitting screws are present. Attached to the dagger is its original hanger with the brown leather strap. The hanger leather shows typical wear. The steel clip is nicely marked "RZM M5/71 OLC". Item #0508-7
