Original Nazi Luftwaffe Officer's Dagger by Rich. Abr. Herder

This is a nice original Luftwaffe officer's dagger with the desirable "RICH. ABR. HERDER" maker's logo on the blade ricasso. This dagger features a lovely ivory-colored celluloid grip with no chips and just a very tiny hairline crack next to the pommel. The springy aluminum wire grip wrap is complete and tight. The dagger's metal fittings are greyed which matches the undented pebbled scabbard. The blade is straight and unsharpened with a nice tip, but does have surface dark speckling and a few tiny edge dings. The original leather blade washer is present.
