Original Nazi Police NCO Sword by Paul Weyersberg

This is an uncleaned "attic find" sword that I recently purchased. This sword features an extremely fine 33 1/4" unsharpened matte finish steel blade with no edge dings or significant problems and a nice straight tip. The leather blade washer is missing. The desirable Paul Weyersberg double-oval maker's logo appears on the blade ricasso. The black ebony wood grip rates very fine with a few minor surface dings and some normal wear to the black finish. The nickeled fittings to the handle have some surface rust spots. The grip features an aluminum Police eagle/swastika grip inset. The straight undented steel scabbard retains about 80% of its original glossy black paint finish. The nickeled upper scabbard throat fitting has both original screws present.
