Nazi Mother's Cross in Gold with Case. This is a superb example with lovely unchipped enamel work on the gold-gilt cross with an excellent blue-and-white neck ribbon. The reverse side of the cross bears the facsimile signature of Adolf Hitler and the date "16. Dezember 1938". The Mother's Cross comes in its original hard-cover hinged case with the maker's marking "R. HAUSCHILD, PFORZHEIM". The case shows some edge scuffing but rates very fine...$110. SOLD

Nazi Kriegsmarine-Marked Battle Flag with Halyard Rope. This is an outstanding larger flag bearing the desirable Naval "eagle-over-M" marking on the halyard sleeve. This flag measures about 73" x 126" and would probably have flown on a Naval vessel or building. The flag is in near excellent condition with vibrant colors and no rips or tears. The flag features reinforced corner patches and edge stitching. There are some very small moth holes that don't significantly detract from the overall appearance of the flag. Imperial German Hunting Association Dagger by Clemen & Jung. This is an outstanding Imperial Hunting Association dagger featuring a triple-etched unsharpened 15" blade with etched panels depicting hunting scenes and wild animals. The blade spine features an acid-etched leaf design along most of the blade length. This outstanding dagger features all-brass uncleaned handle fittings with a brass clamshell and a brass crossguard having "hoof" pattern ends. The near excellent stag grip features three matching brass acorns, with an acorn design also on the uncleaned brass pommel. The blade ricasso bears the Clemen & Jung maker's logo. The original red felt blade washer is present. Nazi Fire Police Double-Decal Helmet with Liner and Chinstrap. This is an outstanding near excellent helmet with both the Nazi Police and Swastika decals present. The undented steel helmet shell retains almost all of its original black paint finish with the Swastika decal being 99% present and the Nazi Police decal being 90% present. The light leather liner is nice and supple, with the leather top pad also present. The leather liner has an ink inscription done by the G.I. who liberated the helmet. The inscription reads "Feb. 8, 1945" and "Adolf Schickelgruber, Pfaffenheim France" (Schickelgruber was a derogatory name for Hitler). The liner is size-marked "58". A superb helmet...$325. Nazi Military Grouping to WWII German Army NCO Soldier. This is an outstanding grouping I recently purchased from a relative of the soldier. The soldier was Infantry Unteroffizier Bernhard Johannes Malchus, and these were his items. Included are his Soldbuch with photo in uniform, his identification disk (dogtag) with neck cord, Silver Infantry Assault Badge, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class with numbered ribbon ring, War Service Cross 2nd Class with Swords, Eastern Front Medal and Black Wound Badge. Also included is a stickpin with these five medals and badges depicted. Six of his WWII weapons shooting qualification booklets for various weapons (including the P.08 Luger) are included with this group. This grouping also includes two excellent matching pairs of slip-on NCO shoulder boards, plus a ribbon bar with metal device and a medical career patch with bullion piping. A larger 4 3/8" x 6" modern reprint photo of Unteroffizier Malchus also comes with this grouping, plus an original 1943 Soldbuch calender card. The Soldbuch shows much typical wear as it was carried by Unteroffizier Malchus from 1939 thru 1945. The Soldbuch is filled with entries and lists the various medals he was awarded. Unteroffizier Malchus served on the Eastern Front and was taken prisoner-of-war on May 20, 1945. He survived the war and later died in a nursing home. Nazi K98 Rifle Bayonet with Matching Numbers and Leather Frog. This is an extremely fine bayonet and scabbard, with matching serial numbers "2890u" and maker's code "41asw" on both the blade and scabbard. The 9 7/8" unsharpened blade features most of its smooth high quality blued steel finish with a few tiny edge dings. The bakelite grip panels have no chips or cracks, but have old red paint carefully applied within the grip grooves (I'm not sure of the purpose). The smooth steel scabbard is undented and has a thinner blued finish present. The scabbard is missing the throat screw (easily replaced). The very fine black leather frog is marked "B" on the reverse side, with the maker's name and date "1940" also stamped onto the frog...$150. SOLD

French-Made Nazi K98 Rifle Bayonet with Matching Numbers and Scarce Kriegsmarine-Marked Frog. This is a nice example of a later war bayonet with the date "43" (1943) stamped on the blade spine. This bayonet has a fine blade with most of the bluing still present and no sharpening marks. The blade and scabbard are maker-coded "jwh" (Staatliche Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France maker). Both the blade and scabbard bear matching serial numbers "2144o". The blade shows the typical rougher finish of later war bayonets. The wood grip panels rate very fine plus with a few light surface dings. The pommel and crossguard have the typical later war light blued finish, with some surface rust spots on the pommel. The undented steel scabbard also features light bluing with some rust freckling. The black leather frog features the scarcer Kriegsmarine "eagle-over-M" proofmark. WWII Italian M1938 Carcano Fixed Bayonet. This is the standard WWII Italian bayonet for the Italian M1891/38 Mannlicher Carcano rifle. This bayonet is the variety with the open slot underneath the handle. The spring-loaded retaining button functions well. This bayonet has a nice unsharpened 7" blade with some original finish. The wood handle grip plates rate very good with the grip plates showing some dings and dents. The undented blued steel scabbard retains almost all of its original blued finish and rates very fine...$70. SOLD

Nazi Luftwaffe Flight Operations Boat Photo Album. How often do you see Luftwaffe personnel in boats? This is a presentation photo album with a presentation page to "Oberfeldwebel H. Schiemann II", a Luftwaffe photo analyst group leader. This album was given to him for service time with the "Grossen Kampffliegerschule 3" at Greifswald-Barth from August 1941 thru September 1942. This outstanding photo album includes 81 photos, with photos depicting Luftwaffe personnel on Luftwaffe Flight Operations Boats "FL.B. 527" and "FL.B. 542". The album includes scarce photos of Luftwaffe sea-going vessels and personnel, with photos both on board ships and personnel at formal dinners, recreation, etc. There are excellent photos of Luftwaffe personnel in uniform, survival rafts, ships, etc. as well as a nice larger group photo. This photo album has hard blue leatherette covers in extremely fine condition with a yellow twisted cord spine tie. There is a dedication page inside the back cover entitled "Zur Erinnerung" (In Honor Of) with signatures of the Luftwaffe personnel featured in the album. German 1870 Iron Cross 2nd Class in Incorrect Period Case. This outstanding set is just as I received it. The set consists of a superb 1870 Iron Cross 2nd Class with an extremely fine original non-combatant (WWI-era ribbon?) 4 inch white ribbon with black stripes. The Iron Cross features a magnetic iron center with a silver frame. Almost all of the original black finish to the center is present, with some finish wear to the high points. The case actually belongs to a pre-WWI Imperial Prussian Crown Order which is worth about $200 in itself and is a very desirable case for the collector. This hard-cover case with dark brown leatherette finish features an Imperial German cypher embossed in gold on the convex cover. The case features a gold-finished locking hook on front. Nazi "Gaufilmstelle" Car Pennant. This is a scarce car pennant used by an official of the NSDAP "Gaufilmstelle" (provincial movie theaters of the Nazi Party). These theaters were used to show Nazi propaganda films to the German public. This double-sided, multi-piece pennant measures about 8 1/2" x 12 3/8" with reinforced cloth edges. The pennant features the embroidered inscription "Gau Westfalen-Nord Gaufilmstelle" along with a swastika on one side, and just the embroidered swastika within a white circle on the other side. This pennant is near excellent except for one moth hole on the white field only (no mothing on the red pennant field) on one side which could easily be repaired using a matching cloth material. Nazi Army Infantry EM/NCO Peaked Visor Hat. This is an outstanding high quality visor hat in near excellent condition. This gorgeous hat features a grey/green wool body with white (Infantry) piping and a darker green hat band. The front metal insignia consists of a Wehrmacht eagle/swastika and a cockade with wreath. The near excellent patent leather black chinstrap has no cracks. The near excellent polished black hard fibre visor is unchipped. The inside cloth lining has a distinct herringbone pattern on the smooth satin cloth. Sewn onto the inner lining is an almost complete clear celluloid sweat diamond. The near excellent light leather sweat band is complete and supple with no tears. This hat was discussed on a well-known militaria forum and was identified as an original later war visor hat using an Italian HBT silk inner lining. This is an outstanding larger size hat. Nazi Army Fur-Flapped Field Cap. This is an excellent (possibly unissued) fur-flapped field cap as worn by the Wehrmacht forces during the winter campaign in Russia. This cap features lovely soft fur flaps with a grey/green wool cap body. The fur flaps have a cloth tie on top. Nazi "Der Sturmer" Anti-Semitic Newspaper by Julius Streicher. This is an original 12-page issue of the infamous "Der Sturmer" newspaper, published in Nuremburg by the anti-Semite Julius Streicher who was the Gauleiter of Franconia. Streicher was convicted of crimes against humanity and hanged in October 1946. This issue is dated 1. August 1940 and is filled with anti-semitic articles and cartoons. Many of these newspapers were destroyed after 1945. This issue rates fine with some folds and seam wear. Interesting ads are also in this issue...$65. SOLD

Nazi Mother's Cross in Gold with Case and Neck Ribbon. This is a very nice example with NO chips or cracks to the lovely enamel work on the gold-gilt cross (there is a reflection in the above photo). This Mother's Cross features a full-length neck ribbon that shows some soiling and wear but still nice and sound. The blue leatherette hard hinged case features a gold embossed depiction of the Mother's Cross on the cover. The case bears the maker's name "CARL POELLATH" on the inside.
