Nazi K98 Bayonet with Matching Numbers by Horster. This is an outstanding K98 bayonet featuring a commercial blued finish to the blade with some typical blue wear near the tip. The unsharpened blade features the serial number “550g” which matches the number stamped on the scabbard throat area. The blade also is maker-marked “E.u.F. HORSTER” as is the scabbard throat. The bakelite grip plates have no significant problems. The blued steel scabbard has a VERY shallow depression dent on the reverse side, with most of the blued finish still present. The black leather frog shows surface wear but is complete and serviceable…$200. SOLD

Nazi SS 8-Year Long Service Medal. This is an outstanding ORIGINAL example of this desirable SS medal. This medal features the heavy bronze planchet with the SS runes and wreath superimposed on the swastika on one side, and the wording that translates “For Faithful Service in the SS” superimposed on the large numeral “8” on the other side. There is an edge ding on the medal. This medal comes with its outstanding original longer deep blue ribbon that has no holes or tears…$550. SOLD

Nazi Luftwaffe M40 Combat Helmet with Liner and Chinstrap. This is an outstanding Luftwaffe combat helmet with almost all the original dark green non-reflective combat paint finish still present. This helmet features the Luftwaffe eagle/swastika decal that rates about 80%. The leather liner is complete with all fingers present and the original drawstring. The liner shows typical usage wear with the leather having no splits or tears. The original black leather chinstrap is present and has been slightly shortened. The helmet shell is maker and size marked “ET68” and is a desirable larger size. The interior rear helmet skirt is stamped “4993” and has interesting painted Luftwaffe soldier’s identification…$575. Nazi SA Dagger by Scarce Maker “Karl Tiegel”. This is an interesting SA dagger featuring the RZM maker’s code “M/7/81/40” for the scarce maker “Karl Tiegel” of Riemberg, Germany on the blade. This dagger features the distinctive copper eagle/swastika grip inset, and has a near excellent SA enameled button on the grip. The wood grip has two major chips near the crossguard, with no other significant dings. The uncleaned fittings on the handle and the scabbard are matching. The unsharpened dagger blade has the deeply acid-etched SA motto “Alles fur Deutschland” with much of the darkening agent still present. There are some dark spots on the blade surface. The undented scabbard has all four original scabbard screws present. The scabbard body retains most of its original glossy brown paint finish…$275. SOLD

Nazi Hitler Youth Knife by Arthur Schuttelhofer & Co. This is a very nice Hitler Youth knife with an interesting feature. It appears the black checkered grip panel with the original HJ enameled diamond-shaped inset has been replaced at some time (perhaps period replacement, but not sure). The HJ emblem is properly pinned in and slightly wiggles as it should. The grip panels are attached by two brass rivets, with the opposite grip panel having a slight hairline crack. The blade rates very fine with the RZM maker’s code “M7/13” stamped toward the blade center. The original leather blade washer is present. The undented steel scabbard rates extremely fine with most of the original glossy black paint finish present. The black leather belt loop and snap also rate extremely fine. An interesting HJ knife…$275. SOLD

Nazi SA Dagger by SMF. This is a nice original SA dagger with the blade bearing the RZM maker’s code “M7/9” for the famous SMF firm of Solingen. The blade also bears the date “1941” and the deeply acid-etched SA motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. The unsharpened blade shows much cross-graining, and has “cloudy” areas from improper storage (I haven’t attempted to clean the blade). The dagger features a lovely wood handle with no cracks or chips, and a bright frosted aluminum eagle/swastika grip inset along with an excellent enameled SA rune button. The handle fittings are plated with some freckling. The undented steel scabbard body retains almost all of its original glossy brown paint finish. The scabbard plated fittings show freckling and age lifting in spots. All four original scabbard screws are present. The scabbard ball tip has a typical very small dimple dent…$395. SOLD

Nazi Army Tropical Canteen with Cup. This is an outstanding example of the “tropical” canteen and cup as used by the Afrika Korps and other German soldiers in tropical environments. This set consists of a near excellent brown bakelite canteen with black bakelite cup. The canteen is marked and dated “41”. The black bakelite cup is very fine with some small edge chipping on top. Nazi Army Officer’s Dress Brocade Belt with Buckle. This is an outstanding set featuring a circular Army officer’s alloy belt buckle with no maker’s mark. The buckle is machine-sewn onto the silver-and-green brocade belt. The belt alone measures about 39 1/2” long and has a grey leather sizing strap machine-sewn onto the belt. This set also features a matching alloy catch with sizing prongs. The belt has two brocade loops. This belt is lined on the inside surface with a dark green wool lining. Nazi Luftwaffe Officer’s Dagger by Carl Julius Krebs with Hangers and Portapee. This is an outstanding set that came “out-of-the-woodwork”. This set consists of a near excellent Luftwaffe dagger having an outstanding plated blade with the Krebs logo near the crossguard. The original leather blade washer is still present. There is a very minute blade warp, barely noticeable. The deep orange celluloid dagger handle features tight double-twisted brass wire grip wrap. The celluloid handle shows no cracks or chips on the exposed surfaces, but there are two chips under the dagger’s metal ferrule piece which are not visible when the dagger is assembled. The outstanding undented nickeled scabbard shows a lovely age patina. This lovely dagger comes with its original deluxe dagger hangers showing some normal wear, particularly by one buckle, but the hangers are still nice and sound. Still wrapped around the dagger ferrule is the original silver/aluminum portapee showing some honest surface wear from use. This is an outstanding original set as it came to me…$675 set. SOLD
