1858. WWII Vintage U.S. Army 103rd Infantry Division Shoulder Patch and Private Purchase Ring. This is an outstanding set I just obtained from a WWII veteran's son. Both the embroidered patch and the enameled ring rate extremely fine. This is a nice set for the WWII collector, with the ring being a difficult item to find...$85 set.

1725. WWII USAAF Aviation Cadet "Sweetheart" Miniature Pin. This is a near excellent collectible "sweetheart" pin featuring a miniature USAAF Aviation Cadet wing device with a gold-colored chain connecting it to a metal device with the initials "A.W.S.". The miniature wing is marked "STERLING" along with other metal content markings...$12.

1642. Earlier Vintage U.S. Army "Crossed Rifles" Insignia. This is the LARGER brass insignia having a lovely age patina to the finish. This earlier vintage LARGER insignia measures about 2 1/2 inches across and features the desirable horizontal mounting pin on back. Near excellent condition. I haven't researched the unit history of this insignia...$30.

1641. WWII U.S. Army 13th Airborne Division Shoulder Patch with Attached Tab. This is a near excellent example with the "cut edge" and having the distinctive "snowy back" pattern. This patch features the OD insert with the attached "AIRBORNE" tab. The patch does not glow under the blacklight...$20.

1576. Two Vintage U.S. Items. This is a set of two different vintage items including a U.S. Army Military Police School distinctive unit insignia badge in near excellent condition. The badge features green enamel work with the reverse side featuring the maker's logo and a vertical mounting pin. The other item is an excellent WWII Honorable Discharge lapel pin with a bright gold-gilt finish...$15 set.

1541. U.S. 1942 "ITALIAN REGGIANE 2000" Airplane Silhouette Rubber Training Model. This is a nice example of the solid black rubber airplane model used for training purposes by the U.S. during WWII. This example has the identification markings and copyright date "9.42" on the model's bottom side. This example has had silver paint applied to it at some point in time (the paint may have been applied post-WWII, I'm not sure). This model has a wingspan of about 6 1/8 inches. Nice display item...$40.

1582. Original U.S. Civil War Soldier's Inscribed Book. This hardcover book is entitled "The Poetical Works of Alexander Pope" with a publication date of 1812. Inscribed in ink on the inside front cover is the name of "Lieut. Edward E. Davis, Co. E. 20th Reg. Iowa Vol. Inf. Camp 15 miles east Fayetteville, Arkansas". It is unusual to have the soldier's name, military unit and THE BATTLEFIELD CAMP LOCATION all inscribed by the soldier within a book. This Civil War soldier's history should be researched. The book is missing the back cover, and the front cover and a page are loose from the binding. The book spine shows wear and is partially present. Still, an interesting historical Civil War artifact...$45.
