Imperial Japanese Type 32 Army Sword with Matching Numbers. This is a very nice example with a very fine polished steel blade measuring about 30 1/2" long and having the original leather blade washer present. The blade has a few minor surface scuffs but no significant problems to the polished finish. The blade edge appears to be factory-sharpened about half-way down the blade. The sword hilt features a fine checkered wood grip and backstrap with the locking latch present. The leather finger strap is partially present. Both the sword and the scabbard have matching serial numbers. The steel scabbard has surface rust browning (as does the hilt) but is straight and undented...$285. SOLD

Imperial Japanese Police Short Sword. This is a very nice example featuring the Imperial Japanese Police emblem on the brass handle backstrap, and a stamped marking on the blade near the habaki. The blade measures about 17 3/4 inches long and has no sharpening marks or significant edge nicks but has surface darkening to the plated finish. The original leather blade washer is present. The undented nickel scabbard rates extremely fine with both original scabbard throat screws present. The sword handle shows some honest wear with one twisted brass grip wire missing. Ancestral Japanese Samurai Sword Dating from early 1700's

This is an exceptional find that came in a pile of swords I recently purchased. This original samurai sword without scabbard features a polished steel blade dating from the early 1700's, with the signed tang for noted swordsmith "Kanesada, Kyoho (1716-1736), Musashi - “Bushu-ju Kanesada”, “Kanesada", who lived in Edo’s Shinmei. The blade has no edge dings on its original very sharp edge, and a faint temperline is visible on the blade. The blade measures about 20 3/4" (excluding the copper habaki blade collar). There is some light rust freckling on blade. The buyer could have the blade professionally polished to enhance its appearance and value. The wrought iron tsuba is marked for the maker "Kishu ju Sadanaga". The tight cloth-wrapped handle with sharkskin covering has two bronze "menuki" under the wrap. There is no metal end cap to the handle. FREE SHIPPING WITHIN USA.

Imperial Japanese Navy Napkin Rings. I have just acquired these three original silver-finished Officer mess napkin rings, each bearing the Imperial Japanese Navy insignia of an "anchor with cherry blossom". It's been years since I last had any of these for sale. I believe quite a few of these type napkin rings ended up at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean during WWII. All are in extremely fine condition...$95 each. SOLD
